We started this Animal branching database in 1996 and expanded it in 2000 with the
help of 'Flexitree 2'. Literally hundreds
(really) of people have emailed* to say "oi, you've no tiger in your database",
so we added a number of animals. Some of the clues here are a bit wacky to encourage you to make your own. It's a good thinking exercise and not so easy to find good questions. The easiest bit of advice for making a key is to stick to questions about the animal's habitat or its adaptations.
